Ingredients & Safety

Are your products made with clean ingredients?
Yes. Rose of Eden products are formulated with thoughtfully selected ingredients chosen for safety, performance, and skin comfort. We avoid harsh chemicals and unnecessary fillers.

Do you use fragrance oils or essential oils?
We use both, depending on the product.

  • Fragrance Oils (FO): IFRA-compliant, skin-safe fragrance blends selected for performance and longevity. Many of our fragrance oils are essential oil–derived, offering a refined scent profile with improved stability. All fragrance oils used in Rose of Eden products are phthalate-free and free from California Prop 65 listed substances, meeting strict cosmetic safety standards.

  • Essential Oils (EO): Naturally derived plant extracts used when appropriate for the formula.

Each product listing clearly states which type is used.

Why do we use fragrance oils in some products?
Every customer is different. While some prefer essential oils, others enjoy the complexity and longevity that fragrance oils provide. To honor both preferences, we offer options. All fragrance oils we use are IFRA-compliant, phthalate-free, essential oil–derived when possible, and free from California Prop 65 listed substances.

Why doesn’t my essential oil product smell as strong as fragrance oil products?
Essential oils provide a more subtle, natural scent profile. Because they are plant-derived and highly volatile, they tend to fade faster than fragrance oils. We prioritize safe usage rates and skin comfort, which can result in a lighter aroma. If you enjoy a stronger, longer-lasting scent, we recommend exploring our fragrance oil options.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Our formulas are designed to be gentle, but we always recommend patch testing before full use.

Are your products cruelty-free?
Yes. We do not test on animals.

Orders & Care

How long do products last?
For best quality, use within 6–12 months and store in a cool, dry place.

Why does my product look slightly different than my last order?
We handcraft in small batches, so slight variations may occur. This does not affect performance.

Do you accept returns?
Due to the nature of personal care products, we cannot accept returns on opened items. Contact us within 48 hours if there’s an issue with your order.
